2022 Scholarship Winners
The HBCU Alum Scholarship Committee is proud to announce its 2022 Book Scholarship Winners. There were so many deserving candidates, and made this year's selection the most difficult to date. Eight highly qualified and well-deserving individuals have been selected as recipients: Kaiden Drain, Lauren Forney, Liyah Tyner, Justin Banks, Jaidyn Sawyer, Mimi Harris, Shekinah Washington and Thurston Brown. HBCU Alum highlights students, alumni, traditions, and positive aspects of the Black College experience. The platform also offers annual #HBCUBound Scholarships. These merit-based financial awards hope to encourage talented high school students to consider HBCU’s as viable choices for higher education.

2021 Scholarship Winners
The HBCU Alum Scholarship Committee is proud to announce its 2021 Book Scholarship Winners. Five highly qualified and well-deserving individuals have been selected as recipients: Amber Burton, Christian Davis, Michael Barfield Jr., Myra Lewis and Nia Richardson. Amber is a graduating senior from Columbia, SC and currently holds a 4.85 GPA. She is a member of National Honor Society, Varsity Basketball Captain, All-Region & All State Player, Palmetto Girls State, Urban League Gifted & Talented and S.C.
